Day 1 - Make your first stop of the day at Fjadrargliufur Canyon.  It is an incredible canyon. Hike up to the very top for the best view.  But make sure to stop at each of the sections as you are going up.  After the beautiful hike drive to Skaftafell National Park and Visitors Center.  From Skaftafell Visitors Center you can hike the trail that ends in close proximity of Skaftafellsjökull glacier and you will get a good view of this impressive glacier. Drive just a short distance to the Svartifoss Waterfall parking and hike to Svartifoss.  These multiple hikes should take up most of your day (and your energy).  Enjoy the rest of your evening relaxing!

Day 2 - Take your time today just wondering and admiring the beauty all around at these next places.  Start your day at Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon.  Be sure to book the Lagoon Boat Tour before you make your trip to Iceland.  The times fill up fast.  After your boat tour of Jokulsarlon.  Walk around the area and warm up with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate and pastry at the little cafe.  Then drive across the bridge to Diamond Beach Island.  Walk the strip admiring the Icebergs that have washed up on the dramatic black sand beaches.  Back in the car, drive up to Vesturhorn.  Spend time hiking around this dramatic landscape.

Day 3 - Spend your morning driving up the Eastern Coast to Hengifoss parking.  Hengifoss is Iceland's second-highest waterfall surrounded by red cliffs (It can be a very long and at times steep hike, so please be aware if you have kids with you).  During your hike you will first pass Litlanesfoss (this is a good point to stop if you have kids and head back).  If you wish to hike on, continue your hike to Hengifoss. After your breathtaking hike,  drive to Fljótsdalshérað.  Stunning hike and dazzling waterfall.  Then head to another gorgeous waterfall, Gufufoss.  After admiring this wide, powerful waterfall drive on to Seyoisfjorour.  It is a great little town.  Be careful on the drive, it is steep and at times one lane.  There are wonderful places to stay for the night and fantastic restaurants.
