- Bach Museum - interactive museum with so many incredible things to see and stories to hear. Be sure to get the headphones to hear all about the history of Bach
- Madler Passage- a unique mall
- St Nicholas Church
- Paulinum - Gorgeous glass architectural building is the University of Leipzig.

“WGT” Wave Gotik Treffen - is the world’s largest goth festival and takes place each year over 4 days on Whitsuntide (around the beginning of June). The streets of Leipzig are swarming with people dressed in black. All of a sudden, a black tram line starts operating, the shops in the city center start dressing their windows in black, food stalls fill the streets, and the smells of authentic German foods flood the air. We stumbled upon this festival while in Leipzig. The costumes and make up were incredible. And we were able to indulge in German fair food!

Rizzi Pizzeria - We were craving some pizza and this restaurant was perfect! The pizzas were delicious and we were able to get a table outside overlooking the Old Town. https://www.rizzi-leipzig.de/
Leipzig Lark - This isn't a restaurant but a dessert in Leipzig that you must try if you travel to Leipzig. It's a shortcrust filled with a mixture of crushed almonds, nuts, marzipan, and a cherry. Our favorite was found at Kleinert bakery. https://www.baeckerei-kleinert.de/shop/shop.php?id=1
Bagel Brothers - We needed a lunch to pack in the car for us to have as we drove to Lubeck. We spotted Bagel Brothers and their bagel sandwiches looked delicious. We loved all of the fresh vegetable options. They were delicious! https://www.bagelbrothers.com/
